Kenton Hall is a Canadian writer, actor, director and musician. After ten years with Leicester-based band ist and three critically acclaimed albums, Hall moved full-time into film in 2010. His directorial debut , Bus Stop, Wet Day won Best Direction and Best Cinematography award s at the inaugural U-Reak-A! Film Festival. He has played a variety of roles on-stage, including the lead character of Candy in Tennessee Williams' And Tell Sad Stories of the Deaths of Queens. He also wrote, produced and starred in the feature film, Father to Fall (dir. C. Speller, now in post-production), wrote and directed the short All The Write Moves, wrote and performed in The History of Cinema (dir. A. Jackson, 2011) and recently filmed a role in Tom Hooper's film of Les Miserables (2012). He is also due to complete his first solo album, Exits Pursued by Bear and a second feature film, Between New York and Wednesday, (dir. K. Hall/A. Jackson) in 2012.
